What is a Channel?

Last updated by Rachel Cohen on June 28, 2016 19:08

A channel is a space where multiple images can be collected. The images can be viewed as a slideshow and presented or viewed as a group. This can be used for an assortment of different reasons including curation and collaboration. You can make as many channels as you want with any of our groups.

With paid plans you can also embed your channels and share them with others.

There are 2 types of channels

Personal Channels

Personal channels can only be added to by you. If you go to your profile and click channels, then create a new channel, this will be a personal channel. It is great for making a slideshow of your own images, collecting the images of others, or organizing the images in your account.

Group Channels

Group Channels can be added to and viewed by anyone in a group. This is a great way to have students or colleagues share work. Everyone in a given group can view the other images in the group as well as add their own.
