Sharing to Twitter

Last updated by Rachel Cohen on June 28, 2016 17:14

There are two ways to share your ThingLink creations to twitter.

  1. On your image or video, click the share button. There you will see a twitter icon. You will be prompted to sign in to your Twitter account after which a tweet box will appear. It is pre-populated with text and the link to your image. The text may be changed but the link must remain.
  2. Click the share button on your image. In the share box, copy the link provided. On Twitter paste the link into your tweet.

ThingLink Display on Twitter

ThingLink images cannot be live on the Twitter feed, followers will need to follow a link to the live image, whether that be on ThingLink.com or wherever else you have embedded your image.

If you use the link to the image on ThingLink.com, followers will see a preview of the image at the tweet’s permalink. This can be accessed if they click the ‘details’ link beneath the tweet.
