Adding Tag Images with a Link

Last updated by Rachel Cohen on June 28, 2016 14:52

You can still add images to your tags with our free offering! To do so, your images need to be hosted online. Follow these steps to make sure you get the correct link.

After finding the image you wish to use online, right click on the image. Select the option “Copy Image URL”

Paste that URL into the link field of your tag to see the image in your tag.

If the image you wish to add is one just took that is not yet online, you have a few different options.

  1. Post it online to another hosting platform. You can use your Google account, Imgur, Facebook, or any other website where you can upload your photos. Then use the above method to get the URL of your image and add it to your tag.
  2. Upload it to ThingLink as a background image. Don’t add any tags. Use the Thinglink URL in your tag.
