Last updated by Rachel Cohen on July 05, 2016 19:04

Google Documents, Slides, Maps, and Forms can all be embedded into a tag. This means that the content of the document can be viewed, the slides can be presented, the map can be explored and the form can be filled out all within the tag.

Documents and Slides

  1. On your document or slides, use the Google file menu
  2. Select Publish to the Web
  3. In the dialogue box confirm that you wish to publish to the web
  4. Copy the URL provided for you in the dialogue box
  5. Paste this URL into the link field of your tag on ThingLink

Maps

  1. Search for the area or landmark you wish to display on Google Maps
  2. Copy the URL of the map from the browser
  3. Paste the URL into the link field of your tag on ThingLink

Forms

  1. After creating your form, click the SEND button in the upper right
  2. Select the link option in the dialogue box
  3. Copy the URL
  4. Paste the URL into the link field of your tag on ThingLink

If your assets still are not displaying properly in your tag, make sure your assets are publicly visible.
