What are Question tags?
Question tags are simple multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer:
Note that the question tag type does not save the viewer's response, making it ideal for self-reflection activities, low-stakes practice questions and informal knowledge checks. If you wish to track and analyze how your learners respond to questions, check out the ThingLink Scenario Builder instead.

Recommendations, notes, and limitations
- Question tags do not track how your viewers respond to the question. Check out the ThingLink Scenario Builder if you wish to track your learners' performance.
- Question tags work great with Guided and Locked modes by allowing you to require viewers to view tags in a certain order and respond to the question(s) you created before proceeding.
Please note that at this stage, the Locked mode does not require the viewer to answer the question correctly - they will be able to proceed after opening the question tag. This will be improved with future updates. - There is no minimum or maximum number of answer options you can include. However, we recommend using between 2 to 6 options for best experience.
- Similarly, there is no character limit for the question or the answer options, but we highly recommend sticking to short questions and answers.
- The Question tag type is not compatible with VR.
