The September 2021 update for ThingLink mobile apps aims to make sure that you get the full ThingLink experience no matter what device you are using. You may see some changes.
Check out the FAQ below to learn more about what happens to the content you've already created via the app.
The old app you have been using to create content used a special version of our legacy editor.
What happens to the content I've created via the app?
All content you've created will remain available. If you've shared anything with your learners, clients or wider audience, the content they see will remain exactly the same.
Can I still edit my old content?
Yes. Old content you've created will use our legacy editor that allows you to create the same experiences using a slightly different interface.
New content will use our new editor. If you've used ThingLink via the web version on your PC or tablet, you should be familiar with it. If not, please check out this video guide.
Can I continue using the old app editor?
No, this is not possible with the new app version. Note that the legacy editor provided via the new version of the app will allow you to create the same experiences.
You will be able to use the old app editor if you do not upgrade to the new app version (5.0.0 for iOS/iPadOS and 3.0.1 for Android). Note that the app might update automatically depending on your App Store/Play Store settings.
