Keyboard controls in ThingLink

ThingLink supports keyboard navigation and keyboard interaction. This article provides an overview of the main keyboard controls available to users who navigate without a mouse or touch input.

Move keyboard focus

• Press Tab to move keyboard focus to the next interactive element.
• Press Shift + Tab to move keyboard focus to the previous interactive element.
• In some interface components, you can also use the arrow keys to move between items within the same group.

Activate controls

• Press Enter to activate the focused element, for example to open a tag.
• Press Esc to close pop-up windows, dialogs, and menus.
• Press the Space bar to pause video or audio playback.

360° media

• When viewing 360° media, select the image using Tab / Shift + tab and press Arrow keys to pan the view. You can also zoom in or out using + and - keys.
• When you move focus to a new tag using Tab or Shift + Tab, the view automatically shifts to that tag.

Editor

• In the editor, use Arrow keys to move the currently selected tag icon.
• When viewing 360° media, select the image using Tab / Shift + tab and press Arrow keys to pan the view. You can also zoom in or out using + and - keys.
