Tarina is a simple app for creating interactive stories on an iPad. You can add text, pictures, videos, and voice recordings to your images to tell a story, explain something, or share what you've learned.
Start a project
- Open Tarina and tap + Create.
- Choose Camera to take a photo or Gallery to pick one from your device.
- Enter a name for your project when Tarina asks you to. Your photo will open in the editor.
Add hotspots
- Tap the blue + button at the bottom right of the editor.
- Choose Audio, Image, Video, or Text, depending on what you want to add. You can always add more content to the same hotspot.
- Add your content, then tap Done.
- Drag the hotspot to the part of the photo it belongs to.
- Repeat to add more hotspots. When you finish, tap the checkmark at the top right to save your story.
Edit a hotspot
Tap a hotspot to edit it. You can use the blue + button to add more content, change its icon, color, or font, or tap Delete to remove it.
Add more scenes
A scene is a photo with its own hotspots. If your story has more than one scene, use the controls at the bottom left to view and switch between them. Add a Move to hotspot to connect one scene to another.
