Using LTI 1.3 integration with ItsLearning

You can enable the LTI 1.3 integration with ItsLearning by following the instructions below.

Setup

First, log in to ItsLearning as an administrator:

1. Go to Admin > Manage Apps.
2. Click Add app.
3. Choose where you want ThingLink to be available on the ItsLearning page.
4. Click Browse app library and search for the ThingLink application.
5. Select which roles should have access to ThingLink.
6. Copy the Deployment ID found at the bottom of the page.

7. Click 'Save'.

Next, log in to ThingLink as an administrator for your organization:

1. Go to Organization > Integrations.
2. Under LTI 1.3 connections, click Add new.
3. Select ItsLearning from the dropdown menu.
4. Name the connection (e.g., "ItsLearning").
5. Paste the Deployment ID into the field with the same name.

6. Click 'Add'.

Go back to ItsLearning and log in as an administrator:

1. Open the ThingLink application.
2. Check the box next to "The tool provider has registered these fields".

3. Click 'Save'.
