AI-powered image generation tools

Starting May 2024, all paid ThingLink accounts can use the SkyboxAI integration to generate 360° images and DallE integration to generate 2D images using a simple text prompt.

Simply click Create, select Image or 360° Image, select 'Generate with AI' and enter your prompt:

Availability

AI image generation is available on all paid accounts. Different subscription plans come with different generation limits, i.e. the limit to how many images you can generate per year, and the limit is shared across all users in your organization (school, university, or company).

Administrator users can check how many generations have been used and the total limit by opening the image generation menu (see below):

If your organization runs of out generations, contact our team.

Controlling availability for students

AI image generation is not available on student accounts by default. Access to all AI tools is controlled by organization admins.

If you wish to enable (or disable) access to AI image generation and other AI tools for your teachers and/or students:

1. Go to the Organization page
2. Select the 'Settings' tab
3. Scroll down to AI features section and click the 'Edit' button:

How to generate a 2D image using AI

1. Go to Media
2. Click the blue Create button
3. Select Image
4. Select Generate with AI
5. Enter the prompt for your image (or a description of the image you wish to create) and click continue
6. Wait for the image to be generated. If you are satisfied with the result, click Continue

For best results, provide a detailed description of the image you wish to generate in English. 

How to generate 360° images using AI

1. Go to Media
2. Click the blue Create button
3. Select 360° image
4. Select Generate with AI
5. Enter the prompt for your image (or a description of the image you wish to create) and click continue
6. Wait for the image to be generated. If you are satisfied with the result, click Continue

For best results, provide a detailed description of the image you wish to generate in English.
