ThingLink’s integration with Adobe Express allows you to create new ThingLink images using Adobe Express or edit the background image of an existing ThingLink image. You can use Adobe Express to design a new image from scratch, work with your existing Adobe Express materials, or make changes to an image you have already uploaded to ThingLink.
To use Adobe Express, you will need to sign in to an Adobe account or create one. The tools, templates, and assets available inside Adobe Express may depend on your Adobe license.

How to create a new image with Adobe Express
- Log in to your ThingLink account.
- Click Create.
- Select Image.
- Click Design with Adobe Express.
Adobe Express will open in a pop-up window within the same browser tab. You can create a new design or use your existing Adobe Express content as the base image for your ThingLink.
Once you have finished designing, click Save to ThingLink in the top-right corner of the Adobe Express window. The design will be added to your ThingLink account as a new image project, where you can start adding tags and other interactive elements.
To close Adobe Express without saving changes to ThingLink, click the X button in the Adobe Express window.
How to edit an existing ThingLink image with Adobe Express
You can also use Adobe Express to edit the background image of an existing ThingLink image.
- Open the ThingLink image you want to edit.
- Click the three dots (...) menu.
- Select Edit with Adobe Express.
- Make your changes in the Adobe Express window.
- Click Save to ThingLink.
Your changes will be applied to the ThingLink image. Any tags, questions, or other interactive elements you have added in ThingLink will remain in place.
You can repeat this process whenever you need to make further changes. For example, you can edit the image again later to update text, replace visual elements, or adjust the design, then save the changes back to ThingLink.
Editing 360° images with Adobe Express
Adobe Express can also be used to edit 360° images uploaded to ThingLink.
Adobe Express displays 360° images as flat images, not as interactive 360° views. This means that editing 360° images may require some care, especially around the edges of the image, as these areas connect when viewed in 360°.
After saving the edited image back to ThingLink, it will continue to work as a 360° image.
Notes and limitations
Adobe Express editing is available for image-based ThingLink projects, including regular 2D images and 360° images.
Adobe Express is used to edit the base image. Interactive ThingLink elements, such as tags, questions, and embeds, are added and edited in ThingLink after the image has been saved.
Designs created or edited through ThingLink will also appear in Adobe Express in a dedicated ThingLink folder. This helps you find and reuse the designs you have created for ThingLink.
To reuse an existing Adobe Express design in ThingLink, start by creating a new image in ThingLink and selecting Design with Adobe Express. This creates a new Adobe Express design. From there, open the Your stuff tab in the Adobe Express editor to access your existing Adobe Express designs, copy or duplicate them, and use them as the base image for your new ThingLink.
Some Adobe Express features, templates, stock assets, or export options may depend on your Adobe account type or license.
