Brand kit – ThingLink

Overview

The Brand Kit feature allows you to customize the look and feel of your ThingLink content by adding your organization's logo, setting a brand color, and uploading shared custom icons.

Availability

This feature is available on the following subscription plans:

Enterprise / eLearning Enterprise
K-12 Enhanced and K-12 District
Higher Education: College/School and Campus-Wide

Brand Kit components

The brand kit currently includes 3 components:

Your organization's logo, which will be displayed inside the scenario player.
Your Brand color, which replaces the standard ThingLink blue inside the scenario player.
Shared custom icons for the media editor. These icons will be available to all users in your organization.

Your brand kit is managed by your administrator users via the Organization page > Brand kit tab.

Logo

Upload your organization’s logo to have it appear in all scenarios created by your users. You can preview an example at the end of this article.

To upload or replace the logo, click the 'Upload new logo' button and select a file from your device.

File specifications:

File format: JPEG or PNG
Maximum resolution: 500x200 pixels

Brand color

The Brand color setting allows you to customize the color of different standard interface elements. As of June 2025, this setting applies to Scenario Builder only, but we are planning to add support for other products as well.

To change the brand color, click the field and enter a hex code. You can also use the color picker by clicking the colored icon next to the field:

Shared custom icons

The Shared custom icons section allows you to upload custom icons for the media editor. These icons will be available to all users under your organizational account.

To add an icon, click 'Upload icon' and choose a file from your device. Once uploaded, the icon becomes accessible to all users via the media editor.
