Changing interface language

ThingLink is currently available in 20 different languages.

Your interface language is based on the language preference settings of your internet browser. If you belong to an organizational account (e.g. a school or an eLearning team), your default language can be set by your account administrator.

Please note that some newly released features are translated after the initial release, so the interface can be displayed in a mix of English and your preferred language.

How to change your interface language

If you'd like to change your interface language, click the cog icon ('Profile settings') in the top right corner, then navigate to the 'General' tab. In the 'Interface' section click the 'Edit' button next to 'Language', choose the language you'd like to use and click 'Save'.

How to set the default interface language for your students/users

If you are an administrator of an organizational account (e.g. a school or an eLearning team), you can change the default interface language for your users. 

1. Go to the Organization page
2. Select the Settings tab
3. Scroll down to the Interface section and click on 'Edit' button next to 'Language'
4. Select your preferred default language and click 'Save'

When a new user signs up and joins your account, their interface will be displayed in the language you've selected.
