Overview
Motion view, also known as gyroscope controls, lets viewers look around 360° images and videos by moving their mobile device instead of swiping across the screen.
Motion view is available on mobile devices and is enabled by default for all 360° content. Viewers still need to activate it manually using the motion view button .
Using motion view
Tap the motion view button in the info bar or scene controls to activate motion view:
Your device or browser may ask for permission to access motion and orientation controls.
Once activated, move your phone or tablet to look around the scene. You can still tap hotspots and other interface elements, but you cannot swipe to pan the view while motion view is active.
Tap the motion view button again to turn motion view off and return to swipe controls.
Disabling motion view for a project
Content creators can disable the motion view button in the editor settings:
If disabled, the button will not be shown to viewers and motion view cannot be activated.
See Editor settings for more information on enabling or disabling control buttons.
