Sometimes a tag icon can obscure important visual information in your base media. This can be a problem when working with detailed images such as maps, infographics and medical illustrations.
You can now add an anchor - a simple white line connecting your icon with any other point of the image:
How to add an anchor
- Add a tag of your choice.
- Enter your tag content e.g text & media, tour or embed.
- Hover over the icon and click the white '+' (plus) button below the icon. This will create an anchor directly below the icon.
- Simply click and drag the anchor if you wish to reposition it.
Note that anchors cannot be added using a touchscreen device. However, they will be visible to your end viewer no matter what device they are using.
Deleting an anchor
To delete an anchor, simply click it twice or drag it into the icon.
Customizing anchors
You can customize the color of the anchor line and select between solid and dashed lines. Go into Settings -> Color scheme, then select one of the available colors and line styles under 'Anchor line':
Note that if you choose the 'Auto' option, the anchor lines will use the icon's primary color. However, custom icons will use a white anchor line as we cannot determine the icon's primary color.
