A new feature called static labels allows you to replace a tag icon with a short text label that will always be displayed - even before the viewer interacts with the tag. Check out the video below.
How to add a static label
Static labels can be used to replace an icon on any text & media or text label tag. Once you've created the tag, do the following:
- Click the tag to edit it
- Click 'Change icon'
- Toggle 'Replace icon with static label'
If you are using a static label with a text & media tag, then the static label will display the text from the 'Title' field. The viewer can click the label to open the tag.
Customizing label colors
At the moment, static label come in two colors: white and black. White is the default color. To change it, go to in-editor settings > Color scheme and choose the black color under 'Anchor line':
Limitations
Please note that static labels do not work:
- On mobile devices;
- If the embed width is below 768 pixels.
In these cases, we'll display the icon instead of the static label. This is done to ensure that the static labels do not obstruct the background image.
