ThingLink integrates with Igloo Vision to allow seamless viewing of your content, from virtual tours to workspace simulations and escape rooms, in Igloo’s immersive spaces.
How to open ThingLink content in Igloo Vision
- Open your ThingLink 360-degree image or video
- Make sure your project is set to the 'Anyone with the link' privacy setting
- Click the Share button, select 'Share link' and copy the link
- Modify the link:
Original link you get in step 3: https://www.thinglink.com/scene/{id}, e.g. https://www.thinglink.com/scene/1205132232365178886
Modified link: https://www.thinglink.com/view/scene/{id}/cubemap, e.g. https://www.thinglink.com/view/scene/1205132232365178886/cubemap - Copy the modified link from step 4
- Open Igloo Core Engine
- Once you set up a workspace, hover over the 'Add content' button in the Layers menu, then select New Content > WebView:
- Paste the modified URL from step 5 into the URL field
- Uncheck the 'Dynamic Resolution' checkbox below the URL field and set the resolution to 6000 x 1000
- In the settings panel, select Effects and add two effects in the following order:
- Cubemap to Equirectangular
- True perspective
Now you are ready to go! Toggling on 'Canvas UI' in the top-right corner lets you test what the content will look like without going to the immersive space.
