Limitations and general advice
While the standard code works fine in most cases, some websites do not support iframes or limit their functionality.
- Some social media platforms, such as Facebook, do not support iframes at all. In both cases, we recommend sharing a fullscreen link instead.
- As of October 10, 2019, ThingLink can be embedded in Twitter and will remain interactive. Whenever you are writing a tweet, just paste a link to a ThingLink scene and hit enter.
- Certain websites, such as Wix, limit iframes' functionality by forcing TL iframe into another iframe. This removes the fullscreen button and does not allow to properly resize the tag containers.
- If you are building a custom website, please note that the iframe's size may depend on the size of the element it's located inside. If you think that something's wrong on our side or cannot figure out any issues, please submit a tech support request.
- Some websites, such as Medium, use third-party embed providers. This means that the default code most likely will not work. However, ThingLink is integrated with Embedly, ensuring that your content will stay interactive on most websites. Please refer to this article to learn how to embed your content in such cases.

Salve non riesco a pubblicare su Padlet. Sono iscritts sulla piattaforma Elearning. Come si fa? Devo sottiscriverevun abbonamento?
Hello MsLadyanto, if you have a free teacher account, you should be able to publish ThingLinks to Padlet. However, you have to use a share link (e.g. https://www.thinglink.com/scene/1205257932048957445) instead of the embed code. Please make sure that the scene's visibility setting is set to 'Public' or 'Unlisted' before you paste the link to Padlet.
