What are my next steps sign up for the $35/yr teacher account?

How do I proceed with the free teacher account?

    Thank you,

    Jennifer

    Hello Jennifer,

You can create a free teacher account by signing up at thinglink.com/edu. Once you've created an account, you can upgrade using your credit card or PayPal (US only).

Don't hesitate to submit a support request if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Ivan

    Hi

I am playing around on the free teacher account to see if this would be worthwhile for my kids. I was adding tags to a picture and noticed in the demo lessons that a layout feature pops up. When I was trying to create a test page in the free account no layout option appeared and no reading appeared. Is it true that in the free account most features do not exist?

    Hello Jane Mcleod,

Could you please share the link to the demo you are referring to? It's likely that the video is outdated and needs to be removed. Previously, it was possible to select different layouts that are now combined into the text & media tag.

Free teacher accounts have access to all editor features. The main difference between free and paid teacher accounts is the ability to use ThingLink with students - please see here for more information.

    Best regards,
    Ivan

    Hello,

Do I need a code to try a teacher 30-day free account? I would like to try the program before I compromise.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Is there any option to get a Teacher-Account (60$) without owning one of the specified cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa)?
I have another Creditcard or PayPal.
    I'm from Germany.

    Thanks

    Julia

Hello Julia Müller, generally speaking, you should be able to pay using a card issued by a local card brand. I would recommend to try using your card at thinglink.com/upgrade. If our payment system is unable to process the payment, you will receive an error message.

Please contact us at support@thinglink.com if that happens.
